Heerenveen plays against Cambuur in the Frisian derby. The match takes place on 4-6 December at the Abe Lenstra Stadium. This is the first edition of the Frisian derby in the new season. For the Leeuwarders stood Johnsen on the scoreboard. Heerenveen kicks off the new season on Sunday afternoon 9 August (16.45) in its own stadium against FC Twente. On the last matchday, Sunday 23 May, two top matches are played in Friesland. Heerenveen faces the reigning champion PSV in its own stadium, while Cambuur takes on Ajax at home.
