Heerenveen Receives Bid for Marcus Linday
Portuguese club Braga has expressed interest in the 23-year-old striker Marcus Linday. According to De Telegraaf, Braga has already made a first bid of €6.5 million to Heerenveen. It is unclear whether this offer will lead to an agreement.
Heerenveen's Response to Offer
Heerenveen immediately rejected the offer and is asking for more money for Linday, who joined from Västerås SK in January 2025 for €1.7 million. According to Transfermarkt, Linday's current value is estimated at €5 million.
Linday has scored three goals and provided five assists in 54 matches with Heerenveen so far. He is now preparing for the upcoming season.
Previous Bid from Braga
Braga had previously offered €5 million for Linday, beginning in June. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the two clubs were ongoing but ultimately did not materialize.
Future Prospects of New Offer
Braga sees Linday as an interesting option for their club and is willing to consider a new offer. It remains to be seen whether Heerenveen will receive a new bid soon or if Braga will continue to search for other players.
