Heerenveen has rejected a Portuguese bid for midfielder Marcus Linday. SC Braga had interest in the 23-year-old Swedish player. The bid was lower than the mentioned five million euros. Heerenveen has rejected the offer. 'I have no idea if they will come back', said technical manager Johan Hansma. Linday joined Heerenveen in January 2025 and has a contract until mid-2029 at the Abe Lenstra Stadium. The 23-year-old Swedish player has scored three times in 54 appearances for Heerenveen so far. Last season, Heerenveen finished in the play-offs for European football. If Linday moves to Braga, he will join the semifinalist of the previous edition of the Europa League. The North-Portuguese club will also play in that tournament next year.
